-- Frame Number One -- Single Speed Mountain Bike

Progress this weekend consisted of getting the chainstays mitered, along with one of the two seatstays. With any luck I'll have the other seatstay in one evening this week. Then it will be on to cleaning up the joints between the chainstays and the dropouts. So far fit-up is going reasonably well, especially considering the chain and seatstay miters are completely freehand, I did not have miter guides available for those.

Close up of the chainstay junction with the dropouts, these need more work.

One seatstay in place. If I am not careful this thing will start looking like a bike soon.

Currently things seem to be progressing well. I'll be hooking up the purge gas canister this week as well, and will be just about ready to start welding things.
Well, not quite, I do still have some cleanup on the other miters as well as the droupout joints, but it will not be too long at this point. Thanks for checking in.
